What's a tag?

Think of a tag as a simple category name. People can categorize their products, photos, news, and videos with any tag that makes sense.

Where does the stuff on tagsoda Tags come from?

Anyone with a shopping cart, blog, or web page can contribute to tagsoda Tag pages. Online stores place tags on their product pages and users can contribute tags to the products thus helping them be more searchable. Click here to view some current merchants product pages who have install the tagging software.

There are two ways to contribute:

• You as a web site owner adds tags to your items or web pages. The items or web page links are uploaded to tagsoda using XML, mass upload, or manual submission. Create and account and follow the instructions to begin tagging your web pages.
• Your web site users add tags to your web pages through our plug in.
